Turkey Club Triple Decker (Printable)

Triple-layered stack featuring turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise on golden toast for a classic American favorite.

# Ingredient List:

→ Proteins

01 - 7 oz cooked turkey breast, sliced
02 - 4 slices bacon

→ Bread & Spread

03 - 6 slices white or whole wheat sandwich bread
04 - 3 tablespoons mayonnaise

→ Vegetables

05 - 4 leaves romaine or iceberg lettuce
06 - 1 large tomato, sliced

→ Seasoning

07 - Salt and black pepper, to taste

# How To Make It:

01 - Toast bread slices in toaster until golden brown and crispy.
02 - Place bacon in skillet over medium heat. Cook until crispy, turning once. Drain on paper towels to remove excess grease.
03 - Lay out three toast slices. Spread 1/2 tablespoon mayonnaise evenly on each slice.
04 - On first toast slice, arrange half the lettuce leaves followed by half the turkey slices. Lightly season with salt and pepper.
05 - Place second toast slice on top, mayonnaise side down. Spread remaining 1/2 tablespoon mayonnaise on top of this slice.
06 - Layer tomato slices and crispy bacon. Add remaining lettuce and turkey. Season again with salt and pepper if desired.
07 - Top with final toast slice. Press down gently. Secure corners with cocktail sticks if needed. Cut diagonally into quarters and serve immediately.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The combination of warm toasted bread, cool crisp lettuce, and salty bacon hits every texture crave at once
  • It transforms ordinary leftover turkey into something that feels like an occasion
  • These sandwiches have saved many last minute lunch emergencies with ingredients I almost always have on hand
02 -
  • Cutting the sandwich with the cocktail sticks in place is essential or everything slides apart
  • The key is spreading mayonnaise on every slice of bread that touches filling, not just the top and bottom
  • Letting the bacon drain thoroughly on paper towels prevents the bread from becoming soggy
03 -
  • Toast the bread slightly more than you normally would since the fillings will soften it
  • If serving later, wrap each quarter separately in parchment paper to maintain freshness
